AegisFleet

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of the AegisFleet platform (“Service”), including the customer portal, integration API, and related hardware/software for alcohol interlock enforcement, GPS tracking, and driver monitoring. By creating an account or using the Service, your organization (“Customer”, “you”) agrees to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

AegisFleet provides software that reports data from installed hardware (interlock devices, GPS units, in-cab monitoring cameras) to a web portal and integration API. Plans and included features (interlock only, +GPS, +driver monitoring) are described on our Pricing page and may be updated by mutual agreement or plan change request.

3. Accounts and access

  • Your organization's administrators are responsible for managing user roles (owner, admin, operator, viewer) and access within your account.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, API keys, and enabling multi-factor authentication where available.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise.

4. Fees and billing

Subscription fees are billed per vehicle, monthly or yearly as selected, per the rates on our Pricing page or as separately agreed in writing. Plan upgrades/downgrades are requested through the portal and applied once confirmed by our team. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly agreed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including road safety and data protection regulations
  • Attempt to bypass, tamper with, or defeat interlock hardware or its reporting to the platform
  • Access accounts, vehicles, or data outside your organization's own tenant
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service without our consent
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access it through unauthorized means

6. Hardware and installation

Interlock, GPS, and monitoring hardware must be installed and maintained as instructed. Data accuracy (location, interlock results, detection events) depends on correct installation, network connectivity, and hardware condition, which are the Customer's responsibility once installed and accepted.

7. Data ownership

Fleet, vehicle, and driver data generated through your use of the Service belongs to you. We process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On termination, you may request export or deletion of your data subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is a monitoring and enforcement aid — it does not guarantee prevention of impaired driving, accidents, or any specific outcome, and is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AegisFleet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from hardware malfunction, connectivity loss, or third-party misuse. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription per the agreed contract term or notice period. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse that risks the Service's integrity or other customers' data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated to account administrators where practical.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent authority over our registered place of business.
